Edenred: 70% of 2018 dividend paid in shares

(CercleFinance.com) - Edenred announces that at the close of the option period that was open from 22 May to 5 June, its shareholders exercised 70% of the rights in favour of the payment of its 2018 dividend in shares.


This transaction results in the creation of 3,938,507 new ordinary shares (representing 1.65% of the group's share capital). Their settlement-delivery and admission to trading on Euronext Paris will be from 11 June.

The new shares carry dividend rights from 1 January 2019 and rank pari passu with Edenred's existing common stock. The total cash dividend, amounting to 62 million euros, will be paid on 11 June 2019.
