Edenred: invests in Partech's Africa fund

(CercleFinance.com) - Extending its partnership with Partech Ventures which began in 2011, Edenred has announced that it is investing in Partech Africa, a fund that has a target size is 100 million euros and which invests in young companies that benefit from strong growth.


Companies targeted by this fund are those present in Africa and which are oriented towards the digital economy in sectors as varied as mobile commerce, logistics, recruitment, social commerce, education and even health.

"Fast-paced urbanization, the development of a strong middle class, industrialization and the expansion of the service industry are set to transform Africa into a major growth region over the next decade," Edenred explained.
