Suez: H2 exceeds targets

(CercleFinance.com) - The utilities group Suez group has announced better-than-expected resilience in revenue in H2 2020, with a fall in organic terms limited to around -1%, against an expected range of -4% to -2%.


Over the period it also boasts profitability that is driven by the rigorous execution of its performance plan, with EBIT of around 670-680 million euros, against a target range of 600-650 million euros, along with EBITDA of around 1,600 million euros.

Finally, Suez estimates that its net debt was around 9,750 million euros at the end of 2020, down sharply relative to 31 December 2019 and 30 June 2020, which it says is thanks to a structural improvement in cash generation.

Even so, the share price is currently pretty much unchanged at just over 17 euros.
