Arkema: agreement to acquire a Dow business

(CercleFinance.com) - Arkema announces that it has signed an agreement to acquire the flexible packaging lamination adhesives business of the American group Dow, an activity generating annual sales of around $250 million.


The project is based on an enterprise value of $150 million (around 10 times expected EBITDA for 2024) and will require around $50 million in implementation costs or capital expenditure over the next three years.

The project should enable Arkema to become a key player in the attractive market for flexible packaging solutions. Subject to the approval of certain competition authorities, it should be finalized in the fourth quarter of 2024.
