Orpea: creditors and shareholders to be convened

(CercleFinance.com) - Orpea announced on Friday evening that it would be convening its creditors and shareholders with a view to approving its accelerated safeguard plan.


This vote for each of the classes of parties concerned, shareholders and creditors, will be held on 16 June, in person or remotely, with a single resolution, namely the implementation of the accelerated safeguard plan to which the group is subject.

Last week, this procedure was extended for a further two months, until 24 July, by a ruling of the Nanterre Commercial Court.

This announcement comes after the minority shareholders of the retirement home operator had previously announced their intention to take legal action to obtain the convening of a general meeting.
