Renault: global sales rise 3.2% in 2018

(CercleFinance.com) - Renault posted global sales that are up 3.
2% at 3.9 million vehicles over 2018, with the group having integrated Jinbei and Huasong since 1 January 2018.

At the same scope in 2017, volumes are down 1.2% in a global market that is down 0.3%.

The car maker has said that it is continuing with its “Drive the Future” plan by expanding internationally, where registrations now represent over half (50.6%) of sales, against 49.2% in 2017.

Renault is targeting a slight increase in sales in 2019, with an acceleration in the second half, thanks to the launch of new models internationally and the New Clio, a flagship model for the group in Europe, which will be showcased at the Geneva Motor Show.
