Eramet: Unicredit and Intesa sell stakes; discount of 10%.

(CercleFinance.com) - In concert, the Italian banks Intesa Sanpaolo and UniCredit this morning announced the sale of 11.
2% of Eramet's capital, the French mining and metallurgical group, representing a total of 2,971,186 shares. The placement was made at a price of 57 euros per share, i.e. at a significant discount of 10.3% relative to the share's closing price yesterday on the Paris stock exchange.

The transaction took the form of a private placement by accelerated construction of the order book with "certain qualified Italian and international investors". The proceeds from the sale totaled 169.4 million euros.

In so doing, both credit institutions have liquidated their holdings, which previously respectively amounted to 7.1% and 4.1% of Eramet's share capital.
