BNP Paribas: acquisition in agricultural leasing in Norway

(CercleFinance.com) - BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions has announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding for the acquisition of Landkreditt Finans AS, a deal that will be finalised by the end of H1 2018, subject to agreements from supervisory authorities.


As a Norwegian company specialising in the financing of agricultural, forestry and construction equipment, Landkreditt Finans AS' asset portfolio is worth 100 million euros, with the group having quickly established itself as one of the leaders in its market.

Thanks to this acquisition, the financial terms of which have not been disclosed, BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions explains that it marks the first milestone in its expansion in Scandinavian countries, thus reinforcing its position as the leading leasing company in Europe.
