BNP Paribas: to pay a fine of 350 million dollars.

(CercleFinance.com) - BNP Paribas has announced that it has reached an agreement with the Department of Financial Services (DFS) of New York, relating to its investigations into past misconduct in BNP Paribas' FX business.


BNP Paribas will therefore have to pay a fine of 350 million dollars (around 310 million euros). The group has said that this sum will be covered by existing provisions.

BNP Paribas has implemented a broad range of measures aiming to reinforce its control and compliance systems.
