Vivendi: raises stake in PRISA

(CercleFinance.com) - Vivendi announces that it has increased its stake in PRISA to 9.
9% after it initially bought 7.6% of the capital of this Spanish-speaking media and education giant on 22 January. It owns El Pais, Santillana, Cadena SER, Radio Caracol, AS and Los 40 Principales.

The acquisition of this stake is part of Vivendi's strategy to strengthen its position as a global content, media and communications group, and expand its access to Spanish-speaking markets in Europe, Latin America and the United States.
