Vinci: construction contract in Hô Chi Minh City.

(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci said this morning that it has won the contract to design and build a 10-kilometre water pipe that will supply the centre of Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon), the economic capital of Vietnam.


The contract is worth 69 million dollars (about 60 million euros).

Sawaco, the Saigon Water Corporation, is the owner of this project, which is financed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The French group's subsidiaries concerned are Vinci Construction Grands projets and Bessac (Soletanche Bachy).
