Ingenico: year starts in line with expectations.

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday after the market closed Ingenico reported turnover of 594 million euros, up 5% like-for-like and up 11% like-for-like outside the US (penalised by an unfavourable comparison basis).


The "Retail" division generated revenues of 243 million euros over the period, up 3% compared to the first 3 months of 2016. Meanwhile, the banks and "Purchasers" division saw its revenues increase 6% like-for-like and 11% as reported, at 351 million euros.

In geographical terms, the company also benefited from strong sales in "Europe/Africa" and "Asia Pacific", with revenues of respectively 209 million and 162 million euros, compared with 193 million and 129 million euros (as reported).

Ingenico has maintained its annual targets, including organic growth of 7% and an Ebitda margin that is slightly higher than that of 20.6% in 2016.
