EssilorLuxottica: 2.7m new shares issued in dividend payment

(CercleFinance.com) - EssilorLuxottica reports that, at the end of the scheduled period, 310.
329,574 options were exercised in favour of the payment of the balance of the 2020 dividend in shares, resulting in the issue of 2,687,685 new shares, representing 0.6121% of the group's share capital as at 31 May.

For the record, shareholders of the Franco-Italian optical group were able to opt for the payment of the dividend in newly issued shares between 1 and 14 June inclusive, at a price set at 124.70 euros per share (share closed at 149 euros yesterday).

The shares' settlement and delivery and their admission to trading on Euronext Paris will occur on Monday 21 June, as will the payment of the total cash dividend of approximately 137.8 million euros.
