Michelin: presents global reorganisation project.

(CercleFinance.com) - Tyre giant Michelin has announced the creation of a new organisation “to boost growth by adapting its operations to meet the evolving demands of its customers and employees.
”

In this framework, 10 new regions would have increased operational responsibilities, 14 business lines would have the task of developing the offers for each client category and eight operational divisions would be created to provide expertise and support.

The establishment of this organisation, and the simplification of the modes of operation it would generate, would have an impact on the workforce, mainly in the United States and France. To finance this project, the Group would record a provision in its accounts as of 31 December 2017.
