Rubis: sharp rise in Q1 sales.

(CercleFinance.com) - Published after the market closed on Tuesday, Rubis' Q1 sales came in at 896 million euros, up 22% relative to the first 3 months of 2017.


Sales were particularly boosted by the strength of the petroleum products' distribution division, where revenues rose by 24% to 635 million euros. The contributions from the "Storage of liquid products" and "Support & services" respectively reached 95 million euros and 165 million euros, up 29% and 10%.

Note that overall revenues include the acquisition of the 50% additional stake in the deposit in Turkey, enabling the total integration of this site from 1 January 2017, as well as the acquisition of Bermuda Gas (in April 2016) and the disposal of Multigas in Switzerland (December 2016), although this did not have a significant impact.
