Sodexo: takes stake in Zeta's capital

(CercleFinance.com) - Sodexo announced last night that its prepaid voucher division is in the final stages of negotiations leading to the acquisition of a "strategic" minority stake in Zeta, which has been its partner in India since 2017.


The terms of the deal were not specified.

"Beyond BRS, the whole of the Sodexo group will also benefit from Zeta's comprehensive technological suite of seamless payment solutions to foster synergies across activities ultimately benefiting its 100 million consumers. Zeta and Sodexo are already working on deploying Zeta's know-how in several BRS subsidiaries in different regions, such as in Latin America and in Asia," the group said.

Until now funded by its co-founders, Bhavin Turakhia and Ramki Gaddipati, Zeta is now worth 300 million dollars.
