Wendel: just one director left at Saint-Gobain.

(CercleFinance.com) - After the sale of Saint-Gobain's securities announced by Wendel on 2 June, Wendel's representation on Saint-Gobain's board of directors will be reduced to a single director, appointed as Frédéric Lemoine by Wendel.


Saint-Gobain's board of directors has decided to maintain its proposal for the renewal of director Gilles Schnepp's mandate at the group's AGM of 8 June. He will henceforth be an independent director for the group.

It is deemed that Gilles Schnepp now no longer has any particular links with Saint-Gobain, as Legrand, where he is CEO, has no longer been controlled by Wendel since 2011 and that Wendel has not held any stake in Legrand for four years.
