Faurecia: new centre inaugurated in South Korea.

(CercleFinance.com) - Faurecia today announced that it has opened its new headquarters and technical centre in Seoul, South Korea, in the presence of Nam Kyung-Pil, governor of the Gyeonggi province and Patrick Koller, group CEO.


Within this 8,000-square-metre building, which has meant an investment of 28 million euros for Faurecia, the automotive supplier's three businesses will be grouped together, along with a test and prototype centre and a showroom.

Faurecia produces clean mobility systems in Korea, seat structures and mechanisms as well as central consoles. The group has 1,000 employees and has three production sites. In 2016, sales in Korea reached 330 million euros.
