Bic: agreement for acquisition in Canada

(CercleFinance.com) - Bic today announces that it has signed an agreement for the acquisition of Inkbox, an online brand of semi-permanent tattoos based in Toronto (Canada), in a deal that marks a new stage in Bic's transformation into a growth company that is focused on the consumer.


The transaction entails an upfront payment of 65 million dollars (57 million euros) and a deferred payment, the amount of which will be determined based on Inkbox's future revenue growth and profitability.

The consumer products group adds that this acquisition depends on the fulfillment of certain conditions as is customary in this type of transaction. This agreement is expected to be completed by the end of Q1 2022.
