Pernod-Ricard: 5.7% organic sales growth in Q1.
(CercleFinance.com) - Pernod-Ricard has announced Q1 2017-18 nominal sales growth of 2% to 2,292 million euros, including organic growth (excluding FX effects and changes in consolidation scope) of +5.
7%.
Improving growth mainly comes from international strategic brands (+8%), which is thanks to a larger number of brands, including Martell, Absolut, Jameson, Ballantine's, Chivas and Malibu.
In a context that remains uncertain, the French wine and spirits giant has confirmed its target of organic growth in underlying operating income for its fiscal year 2017-18 of +3% to +5%.
