Danone: signs agreement to sell Vega

(CercleFinance.com) - Danone has announced that it has signed an agreement to sell Vega, its plant-based nutritional products brand in Canada and the United States, to funds managed by WM Partners.


WM Partners is a US private equity firm specialising in the health and wellbeing industry.

The sale of Vega is part of the optimization of Danone's capital allocation, coupled with the strategic review of its brand portfolio, references and assets, as announced in October 2020, it said.
