Neopost: weekly leader in SBF after results published.

(CercleFinance.com) - Neopost, a specialist in mailroom systems and associated services, reported after the market closed on 28 March annual accounts which were welcomed by the market from the next day, with the stock rising by over 12%.


This has enabled the share to record the sharpest rise in the SBF 120 index, rising by about 20%.

In essence, the group announced that FY sales of 1.16 billion euros, which, although down 2.1% in organic terms, there was a modest recovery in Q4: +0.2%. This adds credibility to management's prediction, which intends "to return to organic sales growth over the medium term."

In addition, its underlying operating margin (excluding costs) came in at 18.6%, compared with 19.7% a year earlier. Once again, this is in line with forecasts. Another pleasant surprise: cash flow generation before acquisitions and dividends reached 147 million euros in 2016, compared with 101 million euros (restated) in 2015. Finally, note that the 2016 overall dividend has been maintained at 1.70 euro, in line with an undertaking which also applies to FY 2017.
