Bouygues: Q1 attributable result improves

(CercleFinance.com) - Bouygues has published a Q1 2019 net loss attributable to the group of -59 million euros, mainly due to the reduced contribution of Alstom, although its current operating result improved to -58 million euros against -94 million euros a year before.


The conglomerate explains this improvement by the very good performance of Bouygues Telecom and TF1 and despite an unfavourable comparison basis at Colas. Group sales amounted to 7.9 billion euros, up 16% (+8% in organic terms).

Benefiting from a record order book of its construction business at the end of March, which reached 34.4 billion euros, Bouygues confirms its outlook for 2019, which includes improvements in its profitability, reaching free cash flow of 300 million euros at Bouygues Telecom.
