L'Oréal: reclassification of shares in Bettencourt family.

(CercleFinance.com) - A notice published yesterday by the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) has reported a reclassification of shares between the family shareholders of L'Oréal following the death of Liliane Bettencourt.

Therefore, on 21 September, the Téthys family holding company's stake fell below the threshold of 30% of L'Oréal's voting rights and on this date held 27.22% of the shares and voting rights of the French cosmetics giant. Conversely, Françoise Bettencourt Meyers, daughter of Liliane Bettencourt and granddaughter of the group's founder Eugène Schueller, has increased her holding above the threshold of 5% of votes, now holding 5.92% of the group's capital and voting rights.

The statement detailed that these crossings of thresholds result from the reorganisation of ownership interests of the company L'Oréal following Liliane Bettencourt's death.
