Carrefour: Alexandre Bompard could replace Georges Plassat.

(CercleFinance.com) - According to the JDD, Alexandre Bompard, who is currently chairman of la Fnac, is expected to replace Georges Plassat.


There have been rumours around Alexandre Bompard for a few weeks now. He is set to meet with Carrefour's Appointments Committee today according to the weekly paper, Aurel BGC says in its daily research report.

The JDD says that only "surprising turn of events" could change this situation.

The appointment of Alexandre Bompard could be formalised before the group's AGM of 15 June. He could take up his post at the helm of Carrefour in September or October this year.
