Carrefour: plans IPO for Atacadão.

(CercleFinance.com) - Carrefour has announced the first stage for the IPO of Atacadão, its subsidiary in Brazil.
Yesterday the group filed its prospectus as part of this project to float this company on the Novo Mercado with the Brazilian Securities Commission (CVM).

According to Aurel BGC, which quotes the Brazilian daily “Valor”, the French retail giant Carrefour has chosen the lead banks for the IPO of its subsidiary in Brazil.

For this transaction, JPMorgan and BoA Merrill Lynch would have been appointed in this role. They would be supported by Itau BBA, a subsidiary of the Brazilian group Itau Unibanco, along with Goldman Sachs.
