Crédit Agricole: EU authorises takeover of Hama Polska

(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has approved the acquisition of joint control over Hama Polska by Europejski Fundusz Leasingowy (EFL), both from Poland, belonging to the Crédit Agriculture and DBK group in Poland.


Hama Polska is currently only controlled by DBK and offers the rental of trucks and trailers under the DBK Rental brand in Poland. EFL is a supplier of financial solutions, including rental, factoring, lending and long-term rental services in Poland.

DBK is a private company that provides products and services for the transport, maritime transport and logistics sector, including financial support and after-sales services in Poland and, to a lesser extent, Lithuania.

The Commission concluded that the proposed acquisition would not pose any competition problems, because of its limited impact on the market.
