Kone: FY net income down almost a quarter

(CercleFinance.com) - Kone has announced that its total Q4 sales reached 2.
9 billion euros, up 5.2% y-o-y.

Meanwhile, adjusted EBIT rose 1.6% to 365 million euros, while net profit came in at 276.3 million euros, down 0.7% y-o-y.

Quarterly EPS was E0.53, flat y-o-y.

FY sales reached 10.9 billion euros, up 3.7% relative to 2021, while the bottom line was 784.5 million euros, down 23.3%. As a result, 2022 EPS reached 1.5 euro, down 23.6%.

All said, Kone shares have gone up a floor today, up about 2.5% at noon.
