Nokia: to deploy new network in Italy for WINDTRE

(CercleFinance.com) - This morning Nokia announced that it has been selected by Italian telecommunications company WINDTRE to deploy a new high-performance optical network in the country to support traffic throughout Italy and meet the growing demand for ultra-fast connectivity.


Nokia says its DWDM solution will support programmable line rates of up to 600Gbit/s while optimising power consumption and footprint.

The group said that its latest coherent technology solutions will provide WINDTRE with massive capacity that will grow as subscriber demand increases, without sacrificing reliability.
