Nokia: Morgan Stanley starts coverage with 'equal weight'

(CercleFinance.com) - Morgan Stanley on Friday started to cover the Nokia share with an "equal weight" rating, and a target price of 3.
70 euros.

As excitement is building up around 5G, the broker is taking a fresh look at European telecom equipment makers, seeing two stocks "at opposite ends" of their respective restructuring projects.

"We believe Ericsson has an opportunity to press the advantage vs Nokia given 5G cost issues," it wrote in a note.

The Nokia share was down slightly (-0.1%) at 3.25 euros on Euronext Paris after these comments.
