Siemens Healthineers: partnership in the US

(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Healthineers announced on Wednesday that it has signed a 10-year partnership deal with the US hospital group WakeMed Health & Hospitals regarding the use of robotic tools and advanced imaging systems.


Under the terms of the agreement, Siemens Healthineers and WakeMed will use artificial intelligence to support the rapid identification of certain pathologies, reduce the variance of imaging study findings and launch new clinical approaches.

Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, WakeMed has a capacity of 940 beds and employs 9,800 people, including 1,300 seconded physicians.
