Allianz: develops its European debt fund

(CercleFinance.com) - Allianz Real Estate announces that its European debt fund, which was launched last July, has already exceeded the threshold of one billion euros of capital deployed, through operations carried out on behalf of some of Allianz group's insurance companies.


Regulated in Luxembourg, this new fund has been launched to meet growing demand from the group's insurance companies. From 2019, it will be open to third-party institutional investors, giving them access to funding opportunities at preferential rates.

Amongst the latest transactions to date are the 150 million euros refinancing of a shopping centre in Uppsala (Sweden) and the 316 million euro refinancing of a real estate portfolio of office and residential assets located in Dublin city centre.
