Wirecard: Invest Securities upgrades 'sell' rating

(CercleFinance.com) - Invest Securities has upgraded its “sell” rating on Wirecard to “neutral” and its price target from 145 euros to 162 euros, following the German payment solutions group's presentation of ambitious 2025 targets, at its investor day.


The analyst who monitors the stock said that although he has trouble fully integrating this scenario, including the assumption of no pressure on commission rates, this plan has the merit of setting a framework and the management record track makes this credible.

The broker therefore incorporates 50% of the the valuation obtained in the event of the group reaching its 2025 guidelines. It also highlights a positive momentum in the near term and the share price's 16% fall since its downgrade.
