Infineon: 39% decline in Q2 adjusted EPS

e. Jan-Feb-March) of E3,632m, down 12% y-o-y.

Infineon finally posted net income of E394m, down 52%, revealing adjusted EPS of E0.42, down 39%.

In the prevailing difficult market environment, Infineon achieved a solid Q2, management said.

However, as many end markets remained weak due to economic conditions, Infineon says it is taking a cautious approach and lowering its forecasts.

FY 2024 sales are now expected at E15.1bn (+ or - E400m), compared with the previous estimate of E16bn (+ or - E500m).
