HeidelbergCement: 'no major news' in latest earnings report

(CercleFinance.com) - Germany's HeidelbergCement, the world's second-largest cement maker, said its profit from current operations before depreciation increased by 16% to 3.
6 billion euros in 2019, with a like-for-like growth of 2.5%.

Full-year revenue increased by 4.3% to 18.9 billion euros, the building materials group said. Excluding consolidation and exchange rate effects, sales grew by 2.1%, it added.

"Volumes were generally soft," one analyst pointed out."And there is no specific outlook at this stage so, overall, no major new news," he added.

After this report, the Frankfurt-listed HeidelbergCement share was down 1.5% on Tuesday morning.
