Beiersdorf: H1 EPS up a quarter

(CercleFinance.com) - Beiersdorf shares are up nearly 2% in early trading in Frankfurt today, after the group reported H1 2022 EPS that is up 25% at 2.
18 euros, along with an adjusted EBIT margin of 15.9% on sales of 4.5 billion euros (organic growth of 10.5%).

The parent company of the Nivea, La Prairie and tesa brands said that the positive effects on the EBIT margin of the significant sales growth in all regions were partially offset by higher commodity and transport costs.

Beiersdorf confirms its sales growth and EBIT margin targets presented at its recent CMD for 2022, while warning that uncertainty, due to global political and economic challenges remains high.
