Novartis: executive committee shake-up after manager leaves

(CercleFinance.com) - André Wyss, Novartis' president of operations and country president for Switzerland, has decided to leave the company, the Swiss drugmaker said on Monday.


The senior officer, who managed to progress from a chemistry apprentice in manufacturing to the group's executive committee, intends to pursue his career outside the group, Novartis said.

In order to implement Novartis' strategic priorities, the chief digital officer Bertrand Bodson, head of technical operations Steffen Lang, and chief ethics, risk and compliance officer Shannon Klinger have all been appointed to the executive committee, the group said.
