Bombardier: 2022 results beat targets

(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday Bombardier delivered an "exceptional" performance in 2022 and said it was heading for robust growth this year.


The Canadian aircraft manufacturer's revenues reached 6.9 billion dollars last year, up 14%, driven by an increase in the number of aircraft delivered and its after-sales service revenues.

Adjusted EBITDA rose 45% to 930 million dollars, driven by strong pricing for the Global 7500 business jet and cost reductions.

The company said it had exceeded the targets that it raised in August 2022.
For 2023, the Montreal-based group said it expects revenues of over 7.6 billion dollars, mainly thanks to an increase in the number of aircraft deliveries to more than 138 (from 123 in 2022).

Listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, the "B" stock was down 1.4% in early trading on Thursday.
