Solvay: raises global production capacity.

(CercleFinance.com) - Solvay has decided to increase its global sulfone polymer production capacity in India and the United States.


This will help meet rising demand for high-performance thermoplastic materials, mainly in the health and water treatment sector.

The group will set up a new polyethersulfone (PESU) plant in Panoli, India. Construction of this new site has already begun and production is expected to reach full capacity by mid-2019.

Solvay is also expanding its capabilities in the United States at the polymer and monomer production sites in Marietta, Ohio and Augusta, Georgia.
