Airbus: Mobilicom completes drone test campaign

(CercleFinance.com) - Israel's Mobilicom announced on Thursday that it had successfully completed a flight test campaign on its high-speed connectivity and HD video technologies aboard an Airbus drone.


The cybersecurity applications specialist says it has successfully integrated its long-range, high-speed communications systems into a Do-DT25, one of Airbus' unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Mobilicom reports that its latest radio system, the MCU-70, was installed in the aircraft to establish communications with an MCU-300 ground unit in conditions marked by maneuvers performed at speeds of 150 km per second at a distance of up to 100 kilometers from the base.
