Boeing: Malaysia Airlines to renew its fleet

(CercleFinance.com) - Boeing has announced an order from Malaysia Airlines for 18 737-8s and 12 737-10s.
The airline wishes to renew its fleet with more fuel-efficient aircraft.

Malaysia Airlines has also announced an order for up to 60 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.

This order will help meet the growing demand for travel in Southeast Asia, one of the fastest-growing commercial aviation markets. The region's aircraft fleet is expected to grow by almost 250% over the next 20 years.

The arrival of these new aircraft will not only improve the efficiency of our fleet and increase seating capacity, but will also enable us to enhance the overall in-flight experience, giving top priority to the needs of our passengers, Malaysia Aviation Group said.

Today's announcement marks another milestone in Boeing's long-standing partnership with Malaysia and demonstrates our enduring commitment to the country's aviation sector, Boeing Global said.
