FedEx: lowers annual targets again

(CercleFinance.com) - On its quarterly earnings call, FedEx has reduced its forecasts for the current fiscal year, now anticipating adjusted EPS of $18 to $18.
60, instead of $19 to $20, as well as revenues that are stable or slightly down, instead of stable overall.

Our revised earnings outlook reflects continued weakness and uncertainty in the US industrial economy, which is limiting demand for our business-to-business services, management explains.

For Q3 2024-25, FedEx posted adjusted EPS of $4.51 vs. $3.86 a year earlier, with non-GAAP operating margin improving by 0.6 point to 6.8% on revenues up 2% to $22.2bn.

FedEx improved its profitability, while navigating a very challenging operating environment, including a pressured holiday season and severe weather events, it adds.
