Beneteau: annual NI sinks 37%

(CercleFinance.com) - Beneteau has reported a 37% drop in net income (group share) to E92.
9m for 2024, as well as a 63.3% drop in operating income before non-recurring items to E75.9m (7.3% of sales), but above the pleasure boat manufacturer's forecast.

Boat division sales were just over E1.03bn, down 29.4% from a record level in 2023, which benefited from almost a E240m increase in inventories in distribution networks.

Announcing a 'very solid' financial position, Beneteau says that an exceptional dividend of E100m (or E1.21 per share) will be paid on 27 March, followed by a current dividend of E18m (E0.22 per share).

Beneteau is targeting sales of E0.9bn and E1bn in 2025, affected by the continuing downturn in markets and network inventories in H1, then E1.5bn, with a current operating margin of 10% in 2028.
