GE HealthCare: relies on AI for cancer screening
(CercleFinance.com) - GE HealthCare announces the launch of Invenia Automated Breast Ultrasound (ABUS) Premium, a 3D ultrasound based on advanced AI to improve breast cancer screening in women with dense breasts.
According to the laboratory, this technology offers more accurate detection of invasive tumors. Invenia ABUS Premium is designed to deliver the best possible results for patients, while enhancing the patient experience with features that improve acquisition speed and comfort during the examination, GE HealthCare says. In addition, its non-invasive design limits radiation exposure and could reduce unnecessary biopsies. Approved by the FDA, it will be deployed in several countries by 2025.
