Accenture: EPS up 7% in Q2

(CercleFinance.com) - Accenture reports sales of $16.
6 billion for the 2nd quarter of its fiscal year (Dec-Jan-Feb), up 5% on the same period a year earlier.

At the same time, operating income rose to $2.24 billion, up 9.8%, for net income, group share of $1.78 billion, up 6.5%. Diluted EPS came to $2.82 (+7%).

' Our second-quarter results demonstrate that we are continuing to implement our strategy of leading reinvention for our clients and returning to strong growth in FY25, with broad-based growth across the markets, industries and types of services our clients expect from us', commented Julie Sweet, Accenture's CEO.

For the 3rd quarter of its fiscal year, Accenture is targeting sales of between $16.9 and $17.5 billion, an increase of 3% to 7% in local currency.

In addition, the group is now targeting EPS of between $12.55 and $12.79 for the full year 2025 (vs. between $12.43 and $12.79 in the estimate published in December).
