Apple: EU imposes interoperability measures
(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission announced yesterday that it had adopted two decisions under the Digital Market Regulation (DMA) specifying the measures Apple must take to comply with certain aspects of its interoperability obligation.
These measures concern improving access for manufacturers and developers to iOS functionalities for connected devices (watches, headphones, TVs) and simplifying the interoperability request process. This aims to encourage innovation while guaranteeing user security and confidentiality.
