GE Aerospace: RADS-ND solution chosen by Bell Textron

(CercleFinance.com) - GE Aerospace has announced that helicopter manufacturer Bell Textron has approved the use of the Rotor Analysis Diagnostic System Next Generation (RADS-NG) on its entire fleet of commercial helicopters.


According to Van Wilson, Bell's Director of Customer Solutions, the integration of this solution will differentiate Bell's helicopter fleet as a leader in advanced vibration analysis.

"The distinctive advantage of regularly performing proactive vibration measurements and monitoring this data with GE Aerospace's latest technological advances will provide immediate benefit by extending component life and improving passenger comfort," he said.

GE Aerospace adds that its system can also be used to perform vibration diagnostics on fixed-wing aircraft, such as the Lockheed C-130 Hercules, and to support the new generation of eVTOL aircraft.
