Assystem: heavily punished after results

(CercleFinance.com) - Assystem shares are down nearly 9%, on the heels of a mixed publication, with results somewhat downgraded on the bottom-line and a cautious (if not relatively vague) outlook for 2025, according to Oddo BHF, as well as a dividend slashed to E1 per share.


The engineering firm's net income fell to E7.5m in 2024, nowhere near the E102.8m the previous year, despite a 7.8% increase in EBIT (operating profit from ordinary activities) to E40.3m, in line with the E39.7m expected by the broker.

In view of the trends observed at the start of the year, and taking into account the uncertain environment, Assystem has set itself the target of slight organic sales growth and a stable operating margin in 2025.

Although this is not really surprising, given the company's recent comments and current uncertainties, it prompts us to marginally adjust our 2025 scenario (which was already more cautious than the consensus), Oddo BHF says, reducing its EPS estimates by an average of -5%.
