Lockheed Martin: security system deployed southern border

(CercleFinance.com) - Lockheed Martin announces that its AN/TPQ-53 multi-mission radar has been successfully integrated into the command and control systems of the Joint Task Force - Southern Border (JTF-SB) to support the USNORTHCOM mission on the southern border of the US.


USNORTHCOM's mission on the southern border requires the ability to detect and track a variety of threats, both airborne and ground-based.

With its open architecture, the system offers agile and accurate 360-degree analysis, deployable in less than five minutes, and delivers a unified operational view.

Lockheed Martin says that this flexibility allows the system to rapidly integrate new features and advanced software, ensuring that the military has the tools it needs to respond to emerging threats before it can even adapt.
