GE Vernova: agreement to supply 109 wind turbines to RWE in Texas

(CercleFinance.com) - GE Vernova announced today that it has entered into an agreement with RWE to supply 109 2.
8 MW-127 m onshore wind turbines for the Honey Mesquite wind farm and to upgrade the Forest Creek wind farm.

Deliveries of the turbines for these two projects, both in Texas, are scheduled to begin later this year.

These projects will bring RWE's refurbished and upgraded wind power capacity in the USA to over 1 gigawatt (GW).

RWE assures that the wind farms will support several hundred full-time jobs during the construction phase and generate enough electricity to power more than 85,000 homes and businesses each year in Texas.
